Double trouble in the best way. Future Fambo and Sean Paul have rolled out two tunes inside one music video, with ‘Money Money (Remix)’ and ‘Rong Bong’ premiering on Sean Paul’s official YouTube channel on Friday, 30 October.
Sean Paul set it up on social media a day earlier, telling fans there were “two big bad chunes, one music video” coming with Future Fambo, and that the visuals would land the next day.
Who made the riddims
‘Money Money (Remix)’ was produced by Supa Hype. ‘Rong Bong’ was produced by Sean Paul himself and comes through his own Dutty Rock label.
‘A full circle moment’
For Fambo, this one is personal. He called it “a major, major music video” and said Sean Paul has always been supportive. “This is a full circle moment for me because Sean Paul believed in me when no one else did,” he said, adding that the remix matters so much to him because he is doing it with “a dancehall superstar”.
Fambo, who first came through as Future Troubles, is known for records such as ‘Kung Fu’, ‘Rum and Red Bull’ with Beenie Man and the viral ‘Red Light Pepper Light’. He has also spoken about Sean Paul helping him through a hard period in his life, support he says he won’t forget.
The pair have history on wax too, with ‘I’m So Blessed’ part of their link-up story. Now they are back with two fresh cuts and a visual to match. Big tune business, and we’re here for it.
