Nine years after the song first dropped, Stefflon Don and French Montana finally performed ‘Hurtin Me’ together on stage, and they picked The O2 to do it.
Stefflon Don confirmed the moment on Instagram after the show this week, calling it “officially our first time performing it on stage”. By her count, the crowd did plenty of the work too: “20 thousand people performed #HurtinMe W/ me and @frenchmontana,” she wrote.
A new one on the way: ‘TUNUP’
The night wasn’t only about looking back. The pair also previewed an unreleased song called ‘TUNUP’, and Steff says it is “coming very soon”. There’s no release date yet, and no word on whether it will come out as a joint single or with a video.
Why ‘Hurtin Me’ still matters
Released in 2017, ‘Hurtin Me’ went top 10 in the UK and helped take Stefflon Don’s name beyond London. Hearing it live with both artists on stage for the first time, with a crowd she put at 20,000 joining in, is a proper full-circle moment.
Now the question is when ‘TUNUP’ lands. Keep it locked to RTMRADIO.NET and we’ll let you know as soon as it does.
