Nigy Boy is changing the subject. The singer best known for romantic tunes is back with ‘Where Is The Love?’, a song about violence, division and the need for compassion. It’s the first release from the upcoming Vortex riddim, credited to Stargate Productions and David Attal.
The message
“We’re living in a time where there is so much violence, division, and pain,” Nigy Boy said, adding that “sometimes we forget the importance of showing love and compassion to one another”. The song calls for unity and understanding.
It’s a step away from what fans know him for. His breakout hit was ‘Continent’, and his catalogue also includes ‘Waterfalls’ featuring Mr Vegas, ‘You and I’, ‘Lover Not a Fighter’, ‘Superwoman’ and ‘Judgement’. Earlier this year he said 2026 would be about expanding: trying new sounds and building an international presence.
The Vortex riddim tracklist
- Nigy Boy – ‘Where Is The Love?’
- Vanzo – ‘Spotlight’
- Darrio – ‘Surviva’
- Denham Smith – ‘Certain’
The four-track reggae and dancehall project arrives on Friday 13 November on the major streaming platforms, distributed by VPAL Music, the distribution arm of VP Records. We first reported on the Vortex riddim here.
