Quavo has shared a new trailer for his solo album SATCHAMO, and it’s a moving one. It opens with vocals from his late Migos bandmate Takeoff, played over footage of a rocket ship taking off, imagery that fans link to Takeoff.

A first listen

The trailer also gives fans a snippet of a new song: a dramatic track with Auto-Tuned vocals from Quavo. HotNewHipHop says the look and feel are very different from his last album, QRÖMELIFE.

Last month Quavo shared a whiteboard tracklist for ‘SATCHAMO’ with the hashtag #FREESATCHAMO. The new trailer is the clearest sign yet that the album is getting close.

When is it out?

No release date has been announced yet. We’ll update you as soon as Quavo confirms one.

Migos news

Meanwhile, Offset has confirmed his album ‘GMFU’ for 13 November. Quavo and Offset are also reportedly set to reunite on a new Migos project next year featuring Takeoff vocals. HotNewHipHop wonders whether it could be called Culture 4, but that is only speculation for now.

Rest in peace, Takeoff. Are you ready for SATCHAMO?
