CHRONIXX LABELS US PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA ‘A WASTE MAN’

Reggae Artiste Jamar Rolando McNaughton Jr, popularly known as Chronixx is furious at US President Barack Obama for not expunging Marcus Garvey’s criminal record during his recent visit to Jamaica.

Chronixx had high hopes that PM Portia Simpson Miller would’ve used the opportunity of Obama’s visit to have Jamaica’s first national hero, Marcus Garvey, pardoned of charges which led to his US imprisonment in 1923; and as an impetus to clear his name at home in Jamaica.

The 22 year-old “Capture Land” singer ranted on Instagram about his displeasure in Obama’s visit.

Chronixx Took it to Instagram saying, Jamaicans ‘glorifying some waste man’ Which was in inference to President Obama while bashing the Jamaican Government.

” This man…Still have a criminal record in The United States and we glorifying some waste man! This man was hunted and imprisoned by our Jamaican government…who some years later paved a peaceful and safe path for the U.S. President to address us ..a “race of good for nothings”!!!

Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Jr. (1887-1940), a Jamaican born immigrant, was an early twentieth century African-American leader who was a founder and staunch proponent of the black nationalist movement. In the aftermath of World War I, the FBI began investigating Garvey’s activities, looking to deport him as an undesirable alien. In 1922, he was convicted on a mail fraud charge in connection with some of business and organizational activities in which he was involved; his sentence was later commuted by President Coolidge.
